The six mild coronavirus symptoms that really shouldn't be ignored

It is now been months months since the first coronavirus cases were confirmed. In the weeks since we have learned to look out for the most common symptoms like a continuous dry cough or fever but do you know what milder symptoms to look out for?

Less apparent symptoms, including loss of appetite and sense of smell, could indicate you have the Covid-19 virus.

There are now 116,658 confirmed cases in the UK, with more than 500 fatalities.

1 - Loss of sense of smell and taste

The British Association of Otorhinolaryngology warned if you lose your sense of smell and taste it could mean you have Covid-19.

Specialists recommended anyone with these symptoms should immediately self-isolate.

They believe the symptoms are caused by the coronavirus killing the cells in the nose and throat.

In a statement, they announced: “Evidence from other countries

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson tests positive for Coronavirus

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus, the government has said.

Mr Johnson has mild symptoms and will self-isolate in Downing Street, after being tested at No 10 by NHS staff.

"He was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England's chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty," a statement said.

He will still be in charge of the government's handling of the crisis, the statement added.

In a tweet, Mr Johnson said: "Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government's response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

"Together we will beat this."

Mr Johnson was last seen on Thursday night as he clapped outside No 10 as part of a nationwide gesture to thank NHS staff.

There are more than 11,600 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK, and 578 people have died.

It comes after the Prince of Wales also tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

Prince Charles, 71, is to be displaying mild symptoms "but otherwise remains in good health", a spokesman said.

Prince Charles Has Tested Positive For Coronavirus.

Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested for the virus, but that test showed as negative.

The Prince of Wales, who is 71-years-old and therefore considered in the high-risk demographic, has been showing some symptoms of the virus, but these have only been mild and he is otherwise not in poor health.

He is currently thought to be self-isolating in line with the government's advice at his Birkhall residence in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Charles is keeping separate from his wife during the period of his quarantine.

The Prince had been due to embark on his spring tour to destinations including Bosnia and Jordan in the coming weeks.

It has not been possible to figure out exactly how the Prince caught the virus, because he has been at many public engagements over the past few weeks.

Those engagements included the Prince's Trust annual awards dinner, which was attended by celebrities such as Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan, Rolling Stones musician Ronnie Wood, and TV presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Reports suggest that he last saw his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on March 12 and the UK monarch is in good health, according to Buckingham Palace.

A statement released by Clarence House reads: "The Prince of

Coronavirus: Ten reasons not to panic - PLEASE READ.

Regardless of whether we classify the new coronavirus as a pandemic, it is a serious issue. In less than two months, it has spread over several continents. Pandemic means sustained and continuous transmission of the disease, simultaneously in more than three different geographical regions. Pandemic does not refer to the lethality of a virus but to its transmissibility and geographical extension.

What we certainly have is a pandemic of fear. The entire planet’s media is gripped by coronavirus. It is right that there is deep concern and mass planning for worst-case scenarios. And, of course, the repercussions move from the global health sphere into business and politics.

But it is also right that we must not panic. It would be wrong to say there is good news coming out of COVID-19, but there are causes for optimism; reasons to think there may be ways to contain and defeat the virus. And lessons to learn for the future.

The first cases of AIDS were described in June 1981 and it took
