Moving On After Hurt

It's OK to be sad, hurt or even angry for a while
after you have been hurt, because to deny yourself
those feelings will only stop you moving past the hurt.

Accept what has happened and let it go.
Once you have, happiness will come back to you.

We all have been hurt by things and even made fools of ourselves whoever says that they haven't are telling lies

Never thought of it that way but it really makes sense. I realized lastnight when I was with the guy that I've been with the past 2 years that I'm finally getting past the hurt & anger I've been thru in our kind of on again off again relationship. I realized that the excitement I used to feel when we were together has begun to feel more like disinterest.

How do you accept knowing that you were replaced by a prostitute. That you were just thought of as the housekeeper and babysitter for a decade?

Yes after awhile a on again off again relationship gets to you and it starts feeling less and less important until your ready to just end it all together.

Why is it that the guilty gets off scott free. The innocent suffer heartache and have to deal with the feelings of despair. It seems wrong. How do you move on from the pain.I pray but no response.Maybe I am just not worthy of an answer. Oh well I have survived on my own for so long. I guess this is what my lot in life is.
