Respect Your Elders, Help Others & Admit Mistakes

RESPECT the elderly when you're YOUNG
HELP the weak when you're STRONG
ADMIT your mistakes when you're WRONG.

Because one day, you will grow OLD, become WEAK
and expect others to show you some RESPECT.

Michelle I agree, I also worked in a nursing facility.. most were elderly. I loved working with them. Giving them a hug or holding their hand, whatever it was, it felt so good to see them smile and making their day.
God Bless and keep giving those hugs and smiles xxx <3

So well spoken Michele! While I believe that all of that applies to everyone (not just the elderly), it's refreshing to see someone who shows the elderly the respect and regard they so deserve! After all, we're ALL going to be there sooner or later....Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Michele, and thanks for making me smile....{;-)

Awesome job Michele!! I'm from a big family and there's a total of eleven. I really hate that the majority of my siblings will not help take care of our 84yr old mother. She's weak, has dementia, heart problems and dialysis 3days a week. I try to do everything I can for her, but some of my siblings come up when lame excuses so they don't have to help out.
