Written By A Cop ~ It Could Save A Life

WRITTEN BY A COP: IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!

In daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation...
After reading these 9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about.
It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do :

The elbow is the strongest point on your body.
If you are close enough to use it, do!

2. Learned this from a tourist guide.

If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM.
Toss it away from you.... Chances are that he is more interested
in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse..
RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car,

kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy..
The driver won't see you, but everybody else will.
 This has saved lives.

4. Don't sit in your car!

Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc.,
and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!)
The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to
get in on the passenger side, put a weapon to you, and tell you where to go.
AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.
If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF,
Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF!

Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car.
Your Air Bag will save you.
If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it.
As soon as the car crashes bail out and run.
It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:

A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor , and in the back seat.
B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door.
Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the
women are attempting to get into their cars.

C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side.
If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall,
or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs.

Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot.
(This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN!

The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; and even then,
it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic:

STOP
It may get you raped, or killed.
Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played
on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often
asked 'for help' into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

9. Another Safety Point:

Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her 'Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door..'

The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, 'We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.' He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.

10. Water scam!

If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside running or what you think is a burst pipe, DO NOT GO OUT TO INVESTIGATE! These people competely turn on all your outside taps so that you will go out to investigate and then attack.

Stay alert, keep safe, and look out for your neighbors!

Please pass this on. This information should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby Theory was mentioned on America's Most Wanted when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana.

Please forward this information to all the women you know.
It may save a life.

Everyone should take 5 minutes to read this. It may save your life or someone you love.

Heard of several of these, but it is always good to know. Also if a cop has a regular street car with a blue light that has to be put manually on the top of the car of front dash, do not stop on a deserted road. Go to a place that has people around and then pull over. There have been people dressed and can get these blue lights at any store, and use them to lure women to pull over and they get abducted.

They have been warning women on the news if an unmarked car trys to pull you over go to the first gas station you see..A lot of law enforcement have been made aware other's have not..and may think your alluding, just drive slowly and call 911 and ask them to check to see if an unmarked PO is in fact in your area..In the 80's I was dating a state Trooper I had a CB since I was 17 thank God.I also was pretty sure a little blue truck wouldnt be a cop..with a light on top stopping me,I did pull over though and he made the mistake of pulling in front..I had the color make model and plate on the car when the guy came back yelling I'm a cop,I said through a very small cracked window,we'll see,I called you in too the Smokey's he stammered I'll get you and took off..He was from Sullivan County NY were one of my State Troopers Blake Muthig was waiting up there on route 17..So, ladies CB's can save your life.. this is so scary but the gun advice isnt really relevant here in scotland!!. However I never ever park my car in an area where I cannot get access to it without someone parking inches from me. I have a jeep that automatically locks all the doors when i start the engine up. I must add to this though ladies NEVER EVER pick up a hitchhiker even if its a woman cause there could be men hiding in the background!! I was told that many years ago by a friend. I dont pick anyone up, plus now i always look in the rear seats before i enter my car. The world is so sick today. P.S. I honestly cant use my mobile phone much to my family's dismay :(.

Anonymous said...

Thank you very much indeed Dear Dave..This is a vital information to be shared to men and women..I will do it..

I am sorry about the loss of your nephew. But, you see I come from "the other side" if you will. My Dad was a cop in Chicago for 22 years and he (for one) was not a bad guy. If you'll forgive me, I can't help but wonder what situation your nephew was in to have 3 cops shooting at him.

Anonymous said...

Here's one, a couple of days ago someone knocked on my door who ever it was ran like h**l , my dogs barked like crazy, I turned on the outside lights and no one was there. My guess! Someone was looking for a victim but they picked the wrong house! My dogs are the best !

thank-you for sharing and I will do the same!

Becca K. said...

correction everyone should read this not just women are victims men are preyed upon too -.- all of these things apply too both genders. women assailants would go with the sympathetic card by say standing in a alley asking for help saying they're hurt or something of the sort. quit being sexist just because someone is male doesn't mean they cannot be killed or raped.

Thank you so much for the information, I will be sure to share it.

Here is one for u 2 of us Females going out one nite, I was driving and got pulled over, Both of us have parent's that are cops,We got pulled over. The cop came to the car asked the normal questions DL and proof of insurance, Gave both to him he went back to his patrol car, Came back to me asking me to step out of the car, I did next thing I know I was being handcuffed, omg I knew I didn't do anything wrong,, my dad the cop would have killed me, so I stood there in in a nice dress , he told me I had a warrant and that I was going to jail, I begged him telling him there was noway I didn't have anything,, no tickets, warrents, never had ever been pulled. He puts me in the cop car and thank god me GF was still in my car, She got on the her phone and called 911, Too make a long story short he tells me in the car that he pulled us over because we were so good looking, As the other cop car pulled up he let me out of the car uncuffed me and told me to have a nice nite,, That cop had done this before and is no longer on the dept, But I truely believe if my friend wasn't there and did what she did , Thing's could have really gone bad, beware of everyone, U never know, And trust me i am in noway saying cop's are bad, I am one now, This is just something that had happened to me,, So please beware, ,

That type of situation happened in our town and that paticular person no longer has a job

Anonymous said...

Be careful of baby care seats on the side of the road also. A group of kids was setting a baby car seat on side of the roads near wooded areas and when someone would stop to check out the car seat they would drag the females in the woods rape and beat them the men would be beaten close to death. So beware of this also. It was all done just to be accepted into a gang.

Anonymous said...

Every person should be made to read this, most times the attacker may be male
but now adays it could be females. and they also go after children.

It is important to know, but gladly in Slovenia, Europe, we don't have these much problems. It is one of the peaceful country in the world, and these kind of acts are not high, here. But I definitely agree, that this is important in big cities, especially in the USA.

Thank you for the tips. I myself grew up in the heart of New York City. I had a bad experience as a teen. My friend and I were sitting on a stoop that had stone railings. We were sitting on the stone railings talking, when all of a sudden I felt something sharp in my back. Thank God I had my dog laying down by my feet. I turned around and seen a man with a knife to my back. I screamed and let go of my dogs leash. He grabbed ahold of the guys leg. The guy got away from my dogs grip and climbed on top of a car. He kept him there til the police arrived. Thank God for Duke.

Anonymous said...

Im guessing you would appear to be following the gunmans instructions, start the car and drive off safely, then floor it and run into something or someone elses car before leaving a populated area, the gunman has seconds to decide whether to shoot you, odds are he wont go there while others are around and you wont be on the missing persons list later.

Thank you for all these tips!! I never thought of most of these!! I'd like to add something though. This is for men, women and the elderly!! Carry a can of Bee spray under the drivers seat and in the trunk opposed to Pepper spray. It shots up to 10 ft and blinds the Psychopath instantly and needs immediate medical attention. You get away, call the Police. With any luck he'll end up at the nearest Hospital where he'll be arrested. But if not, then I'm pretty sure he'll never be able to hurt another Human being therest of his pathetic life!!!

Thanks for this article.
A couple of months ago early summer. I was woken up by 3 teenagers who rang my doorbell at 11:30PM, I have 2dogs 1 being a chihuahua would not stop barking. I turned all the lights on and they just left. It wasn't until the next day when I was telling 3 of my neighbors that I found out they had gone to their homes as well just ringing door bells. A few months earlier a neighbor got robbed. So we think this kids are calling at the door at night. Trying to find out if people is at home and how many. Since then we the neighbors have been vigilant. Watch your neighborhood be alert!

Thanks for the tips, it will really help us.

I appreciate the advise you've given very good to know, you mentioned ted bundy he murdered my sister in law's sister and also my 2nd cousin i feel these types of rapists/murderers are especially dangerous because of their wit and charm that they use to lure their victims.anyway thanks again and be safe everyone.

Anonymous said...

So sorry about your family members that were killed by Bundy!! Hopefully he is rotting in He**! As a young girl, I read the book "The Stranger Beside Me"..about Ted Bundy. It had such an impact on me. He went to extremes to fool women into trusting him...once dressing as an elderly lady with an arm in a sling...dropping groceries as he was close to his vehicle. Then a young girl offered to help...he grabs her and gets thrown into his car. Not sure if she escaped or not. I had two daughters myself...they say I raised them to be so paranoid :( It is sad that we must do that in today's society..which has only got worse over the years!

Maui Blue said...

All very interesting, even the personal offbeat comments! As for the vans parking close, I was always wondering why they do that a lot. I truly enjoyed everyone's views and read this to the end. My husband and I used to work nights and I was home alone, sick. Then we only owned one car. I told him, never tell people we both work the graveyard shift for this very reason, someone came to the door at 'nite and turned the doorknob and I was in the living room in the dark, curtains closed, watching a movie and yelled, who's there? The person took off. My beagles did not bark, thinking it was my husband. This doorknob trick is also done in the daytime, people act like they are knocking and looking around at the street for witnesses at the same time, turning the knob for open doors.

Thankyou for sharing this with us women. There were somethings here that I did not know. I am a single woman who lives alone and a small one at that. My children fear for my safety at times, and I leave my doors locked the majority of the time. I live in an area where we get the transients from the trains that wander the area.

Another tip for water scam; most outdoor taps have a shut off value inside the basement. Hopefully you have the entrance inside your house. You can turn of the water from the inside tap and then call the police. I personally have had that happened, but with little kids playing tricks. So I did that and called their parents and the problem was solved. Safety first, ladies.

Thank you so much for the article and the comments and replies as well gave handy tips and insights. In my opinion, even if I had a gun, or a blackbelt in martial arts, if something wrong's gonna happen it's gonna happen. (Heard of good swimmers who drown?) So besides the blackbelt (it's not bad to have one and it's excellent fitness program) I prefer to move the spirit world to protect me and guide me so I do not get near such dangerous situations. And also always to follow the MASTER's golden rule.because KARMA is just around the corner. Love and Peace, everyone!

As well as being aware of baby seats or cots by the side of the road as mentioned previously, do not stop. The people laying in wait may also throw eggs at your windscreen, do not use your wipers this will spread the egg all over giving no clear view, forcing you to crash or stop.

These are very good tips. I was a target of Ted Bundy when I lived in CA. Thankfully my wolf/huskey had different ideas and he ran like hell. Unfortunately he found another girl and killed her. I am very thankful for Bianca, RIP. These are good common sense tips. Pay attention.

Thank you for these tips, I've never thought of most of them. If you are stuffed in a trunk aren't there emergency pulls inside most trunks so you can escape? What do you do if your sitting in the car waiting for someone to come out, just keep the doors locked and windows up? I use to sit in my car all the time, sometimes taking a nap. I won't be doing that anymore.

Another good thing to do, if your car has central locking, is to unlock the car, OPEN your driver's side door, THEN LOCK the OTHER doors again via the INSIDE door-locking mechanism on your car door so that no-one can climb in via the other doors. Then hop into your car, lock your driver's side door, and drive off.
