It's hard to move on when your partner dies. It take a tremendous amount of time to comes to terms with death, especially a sudden death. I know, I am going through it and longing for my mate never seems to end. I wish he hadn't been so good to me, maybe it would be easier.

I know exactly what you are feeling. I lost the love of my life 2.5 years ago. And he too treated me like a queen! We can only try and move forward because they wouldn't want us to always be in a sorrowful state. I lean on my faith a lot, and it has helped me tremendously. Many people have told me that we are blessed to have had these men in our life, because their are couples who are together and do not have what we had. Stay strong and "this too shall pass".
i kknow what its like to have to move on i lost my brother 4 years ago and not long ago i lost my nanna and now my mum is dying and i am trying to let go off what has happened but i sticks in my head alot and these words have helped me a lot

i lost my husband 10yrs on the 14th april at the time i felt as if there was nothing left for me,we had been married for just over 25yrs, he had a massive heart attack he was only 47,but in time you do come to terms with it but there isnt a day gone by where i dont think of him, and i was so proud that he was my husband and know he would'nt wanted me to greive for the rest of my life. it just a matter of time taking a different road, my sister lost her 25yr old son 2and half yrs ago and last year she lost her husband so at the moment she takes life day by day but im so glad she has a daughter and grandchilren to keep her busy.
That's right if you don't forgive and don't start to move forward in your new journey of life then you should have just stayed where you were at. That's what I say. You leave that time in your life because it prevents you from growing in life, but if you don't forgive and let go, start your new journey in life then.................... what was the point in leaving that life?????????????
