The differences between margarine and butter - YOU NEED TO READ THIS.

This is interesting . .. .

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow colouring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings....

DO YOU KNOW.. The difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavours of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .

And now, for Margarine..

Very High in Trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC... and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT.

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow.

Why? Because it is nearly plastic . Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to butter them up')!

Chinese Proverb:
When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others.

Pass the BUTTER PLEASE

Birds will not eat margarine. we tried to make seed feeders using margarine to coat the cups and they would not eat it. covered the cups with real peanut butter or butter and no problem. it is nearly as expensive as butter now but not nearly as good. it is said...'if you cannot pronounce the ingredients...DO NOT EAT IT'

One half of my family/Grandparents consumed butter because they were dairy farmers and the other half used margarine. They were merchants. While many other factors may have contributed to their life span, the unscientific result is that the margarine eaters out lived the butter eaters. This in and of itself proves nothing and ads little to the debate. But,it does help to debunk the notion that margarine will kill you prematurely.

  33. https://www.verywellhealth.com/butter-vs-margarine-for-a-low-cholesterol-diet-697723utter comes in two major forms: stick and spread. It is primarily made up of saturated fat and cholesterol. If you look at the ingredients label on the back of a butter product, one tablespoon, the equivalent of a pat of butter on your corn on the cob, contains almost half the recommended amount of saturated fat and cholesterol each day. Bottom line: It's very easy to enter dangerous territory with butter‚ as you probably know if you've ever drizzled some on a bowl of hot popcorn fresh out of the microwave.

One tablespoon of butter contains roughly 30 milligrams of cholesterol and 7 grams of saturated fat; the maximum amount allowed daily is 200 milligrams and 10 milligrams, respectively. Additionally, because both of these types of fats are linked to raising cholesterol and risk of heart disease, butter is recommended to use only sparingly.

Since butter comes from milk, if it's not organic or specifically labeled as free of bovine growth hormone (rGBH), it may contain rGBH. This substance can cause harm to cows and the verdict is still out as to whether it harms humans or not. In addition, butter from grass-fed cows is higher in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for heart health, making it nutritionally superior to the more widely sold butter from conventionally-raised animals. If you do want to consume butter occasionally, do your best to get the healthiest sources.

The buter is washed and since water and fat sparate.it is a cold process. Butter had to be paddled to get the water out and we had wooden one pound butter packers, or forms p After the ound is removed from the one pound mould it was wrapped in butter paper we had to purchase. We stored our own btter and eggs. Color varied due to the time of year, like spring, when chickens and cows ate more green grass which gave a stronger yellow colour to both.Margarine might have been safer when first substituted during the war years but then... MAN thinks he can make better money and ruined and fooled everyone.Do you know what you are eating in ready made baked goods? or ready nicely wrapped indivivually white cheese slices?? That I actually experienced No fly will bother to eat it. Man is wise in more than one way... either to help other mankind or to destroy. Look how crops are grown today and what cows eat and chickens are NOT free run most of the time. MONEY has to be made FAST so pack barns fullm of chickens that never see the daylight! Man is hun gry for money. How eelse will man bujy butter at $5.00 a pound. This is a dominoe effect and we can keep on arguing till the cows come home. Ha!ha!Who controls he price on butter?? Margarine (/ˈmɑːrdʒərɪn, -ɡər-, -(ˈ)iːn/ (About this soundlisten)) is a spread used for flavoring, baking, and cooking, that was first made in France in 1869. It was created by Hippolyte Mège-Mouriès in response to a challenge by Emperor Napoleon III to create a butter substitute from beef tallow for the armed forces and lower classes.[1] First named oleomargarine from Latin for oleum (olive oil) and Greek for margarite (pearl indicating luster), it was later named margarine.[1]

Colourful and sturdy structures such as slides, swings, climbing frames, and imaginative play zones encourage gross motor skills, coordination, and spatial awareness. Safety is paramount, with rounded edges, non-slip surfaces, and low heights to minimize potential risks.

Many sets incorporate educational elements like alphabet panels or sensory components to enhance early learning. Preschool playgrounds aim to create a joyful atmosphere that promotes social interaction, teamwork, and creativity, laying the foundation for a positive and active approach to physical activity in young children.
