One half of my family/Grandparents consumed butter because they were dairy farmers and the other half used margarine. They were merchants. While many other factors may have contributed to their life span, the unscientific result is that the margarine eaters out lived the butter eaters. Also depending on what kind of cow you get the milk from will also determine how dark of yellow the cream is. The more butter fat there is in the milk the darker yellow your cream will be.
