Holding On To Anger Only Hurts You

Forgive people in your life,
even those who are not
sorry for their actions.

Holding on to anger only
hurts you, never them.

this is so true, but how do forgive those who have made this their way of life and are narcistic

I guess let them woller in their own self loathing and stand back and watch as they tear themselves apart little by little and let them endure another one of lifes lessons.

Very true! Yeah its hard to forgive...especially when it comes to the heart! Sometimes we need to forgive in order to continue going forward with our own lives and holding on to past pain is hurting only yourself...personal exp. Forgiveness is FREEDOM!!!

Forgive and move on.

only God can put forgiveness in your heart!! ask him to help you do this! this has to be divinely given! anger and bitterness will destroy you from the inside out! let the lord have it!

Im paralyzed now after being ran over by a speeding driver under the influence, she didn't receive any punishment. How do I forgive this person and let go of the anger I have inside me.i have a 2 year old daughter that ill never be able to run around and play with her now.

You are in my prayers. So wrong that she did not receive any punishment. Forgiveness is the most impossible thing to do. Write a letter to this person who caused you such lifelong pain, if you cannot mail this to this person, burn the letter , at least that gets some of the anger out..because anger takes away time in your mind and your life...GOD BE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY..

Write a letter, read it to that person alive or not Then burn it in a quiet beautiful place.

I don't forgive, I don't forget and I try not to avenge but just let it drop as something of no consequence. Forgiveness has to be earned.
