Living with an Invisible Illness

It's hard to explain to someone who has no idea of the
daily struggles you face. Feeling pain, feeling unwell, feeling awful
on the inside whilst looking perfectly fine on the outside.

Putting on a brave face for everyone.

Please share this on your status if you, or someone close to you,
has an invisible illness. There are many forms -
Chron's, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Diabetes, Lupus,
Fybromyalgia, MS, ME, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Disease,
Epilepsy, Autism, Alzheimers and the many
other types of invisible illness coped with daily.

I deal with excrusiating pain and neurological problems All the time. It is so hard when it hurts endlessly . Depression and anxiety are also part of my illness. I appreciate the kind words and jestures of my family and friends but I still think they don't understand what I am going through completely. Even a lot of Doctors don ' know about my illness. It gets frustrating, but I keep fighting and praying.

I suffer from RSD(pain disorder); DEPRESSION & ANXIETY - The days can be long- wishing, praying the pain to go away. My feet touch the floor, shocking pain shoots through my feet to my head. Trying not scream, scrambling to find my pain meds. to take them as fast as I can!! Now, I wait...before, I can move around the house. Why me -I'm to young for this?

I was just wondering what your diagnoses was? I hope you have a GOOD day today!! I should say manageable?....

I have more than one that no one could know of ....one fibromyalgia...painful...yes.....but it is what it is.....and I don't take any pain medication at all...cause I can't....I'm just grateful to be alive and focusing on positive things.....trying very hard to stay true to that statment.....I have Faith that I can....

I was brought up to believe in only 1/2 of what you see and nothing that you hear
I have tried to live by this rule
I to have difficulties but look to each day as a blessing to be alive and able to do for myself
Put your faith in God and things will work out

probiotics, hydration, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, exercise, forgiveness of self and others, Gratitude, cleansing has helped me and many others i have met a lot. If you are interested, go to www.BodyEcologyDiet.com. probiotics are aaahmazingly helpful with depression and anxiety. read Donna Gate's articles on depression and anxiety. Educate yourself. maybe go to a Holistic doctor. pray, educate yourself where possible, etc. www.healthforce.com is also helpful. go to their education page and watch their videos on internal cleansing. I had severe depression and anxiety since almost birth and all this stuff has helped me to live a kealthy life now. my email is carrie@consciouscleansing.info if you have any questions or comments for me. May you find your way to health & Happiness in theway that is best for you. Where their is a will, there is a way. Do not give up hope. I too suffer with osteo arthritis and degenerative disc disorder in my spine. My hubby has the same thing but in his neck and his neck is turned backward too. This is terribly painful and nobody would ever know there is anything wrong with you because there are no broken bones or something sticking out somewhere it should not be. It is extremely frustrating. My doctor doesn't know what to do to help me either. She just gives me more medicine.I suffer with depression as well thanks in part to this pain. I pray you can find something that will ease your pain.

I to suffer with osteo-arthritis...degenerative disc disorder all through my whole body......Every day I am in bad bad pain...I work a very physical job...I have it very bad in my neck also....My Doctor tells me eventually I will not be able to move my head to the right or left....that my neck will fuse itself & I will not be able to move it at all!
I suffer depression & anxiety because of it. Anyone that has never experienced osteo-arthritis.....Depression....Anxiety or any other debilitating disease cannot even begin to know what it is like.....because you look fine on the outside alot of people think you are faking the pain.....I will trade them places any day.......second thought....I wouldn't because I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy..it is that bad....:(

People all around us are living with in invisable pain every day, I know, I'm one. People who are blessed with good health tend not to understand. It's not only painful, it!s lonely.

I was once told by a co-worker, right before I was accepted by Social Security as 100% disabled that my disability was all in my head.....it's so hard to remain quiet when people you thought was your friend says something so cruel!
