i work for an animal shelter and have seen lots of puppies get adopted because some of these parents insist their child have a puppy for christmas, only to come back to the shelter when they get a little older!! please, if u don't don't have the time, energy, love and patience to give an animal, then do not adopt one...they are like children and need guidance, patience, love and obedience..they can't raise themselves!!!
